. この度 KoyoNakamura.™︎ は、 2月1日より新たに「VALTENT」（読み方 : ヴォルテン）へと名義を改め、制作活動を再開いたします。 本名義への変更は、 メインの制作であるファインアートとの線引きを明確にするためのものです。これまではプロダクトラインとして、 バッグやポーチ、キーホルダーなどの小物を中心に制作・販売を行ってまいりましたが、VALTENT では、より一層一点一点への向き合い方を深め、小物に留まらず、かつて制作していた洋服、そして新たにアクセサリー類の展開も予定しています。 素材についても、これまでの革を軸としながら、 丁寧に選び抜いた素材と向き合い、 革に限らず、さまざまな素材を用いた制作を行っていきます。 【ABOUT VALTENT】 VALTENT begins by receiving the scars, irregularities, and traces of time left on discarded leather not as flaws to be erased, but as evidence of a life once lived. The fragments of life that would otherwise be cut away in the name of beauty are remnants of the material’s own memories— trajectories of singular existences that will never take the same form again. While retaining functionality, these works do not remain mere products. I position them as Decorative art, created and presented as quiet expressions that dwell gently within everyday life. VALTENTとは、 vault：保管庫／封じられた空間 latent：潜在／表に出ていない状態 の造語である。 つまり、表に出ることのなかった留められた痕跡を、 新たな光を当て、昇華することを意味する。 廃棄される革に残された傷やムラ、 そして時間の痕跡を欠点として消すのではなく、「生きてきた証」として受け取ることから始まる。 美のために切り落とされるはずだったいのちのかけらは、素材が経験した記憶の名残であり、二度と同じ形を持たないひとつの存在の軌跡である。 機能を備えながらも、それらは単なるプロダクトに留まらず、私はこれをDecorative art （装飾芸術）と位置し、日常に静かに佇む表現としての発信を目的としている。 Founder / Designer : KOYO NAKAMURA @54lliii Logo Design : YOSUKE TAMAOKI @yosuke.tmt #VALTENT
