Vibeke’s work explores how technology reshapes our understanding of the 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆, with a particular focus on gendered and 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. Working with AI-generated images and digital video, she creates visual worlds that exist between the aesthetically seductive and the grotesquely unstable. Her practice moves beyond traditional boundaries, using AI as a tool to construct forms that challenge perception and expand the definition of what is considered human, beautiful, or familiar. As a full-time member of the Vertigo artist studio, Vibeke has received multiple grants from 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 and has presented her work in institutional contexts, including 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸.
