when I say getter is THE reason I live in San Francisco, here’s what I mean ~
it’s 2021. im skipping unc’s graduation to visit friends at berkeley instead. it’s my first time in california. rooftop on russian hill with a j in my hand 🌬️, the sun in my face 🌤️, and the bay stretched out in front of me 🌊 it’s a beautiful view, but what’s actually taking my breath away is “Something New” by Getter in my ears, making the moment move 🌀
that was the moment I knew SF would be home 😌
full circle doesn’t even begin to cover it. making my 1015 debut for the artist who brought me here in the first place feels surreal.
