At the end of 2025, I understand my role as a bridge, an archivist, and a world builder.
I’m grateful for the experiences. So many enriching nights at lulo and the arcade. Trips to concerts across the country with capacities ranging from 70 to 70,000. Texts and casual exchanges with my favorite artists of all time. Grants, residencies, — other cites are taking note of what I’m doing.
It feels like a dream and I’m proud. But it wouldn’t be possible without my community.
Phone calls when texts went unanswered. Strangers excited to lend a hand. 3 hour drives bc Tony’s behind it. Colleagues speaking to my accomplishments in rooms I’m far from. Collaboration and work trades because we understand each other’s value. We’re all getting better as we age. It’s been beautiful to witness your growth. I’m proud of us. Thank you so much for what’ve done for me and given me ❤️

2025 was preparation for 2026. If you’ve ever been interested in what I do but never engaged, hmu, ask me to get a drink, start a conversation. For the first time, I’m taking advice and asking for more support this upcoming year. Sow into me like I have others. I’m happy to have been a support for many but this year I’ll need more help than ever and I take care of my own. I can say without a doubt that I have more blessings than I can receive and I’ve always been more than happy to share. Your spectating is appreciated too but I invite you take a chance on what I’m building.
