I have a confession to make.
I am a teacher, but not in the traditional sense. It’s my secret skill that I’ll never turn into a career.
It all started as a side responsibility at a startup. It was demanding, but I found a deep, secret enjoyment in it. It wasn’t just the satisfaction of seeing a student finally understand a difficult topic; it was the thrill of imparting knowledge and learning so much more myself.
My teaching philosophy was simple:
1. focus on the ”why,” not just the ”how.” The tool is just a vehicle; the thought process is the engine.
My advice for junior developers and data professionals:
Don’t just chase the latest tools. Master one, but more importantly, understand the critical thinking behind it. Tools come and go, but the ability to think critically is what will make you truly successful.
Teaching is a skill i will always cherish, but it’s one i am content to keep as my secret passion.

When it all clicked 🖱️
At first, I was only building models, cleaning data, training algorithms, and adjusting numbers.
But then I asked myself: What happens after the model is built?
That question changed everything.
I discovered application programming interfaces, containerization with Docker, and cloud platforms. Suddenly my models were no longer code sitting on my laptop. They became REAL tools people could actually use.
That was the moment I stopped seeing myself as only a data scientist, and started calling myself an Ai engineer.
Because the real magic is not in creating the perfect algorithm, it is in building something the world can truly experience.
