From caves in Portugal to Indo barrels, six surfers set out on a mission.

This film retraces one full year of global piracy.
Improvised missions, forecast obsessions, underground collectives and pure surfing.
Because surfing is individual.

They’d already lost a few HP during the first two screenings in Ericeira and Sopelana… but the homecoming in Biarritz hit HARD.

Family, grandmas, little brothers, a screening at the local cinema (the one where we saw our first movies on school trips), dressed sharp, delivering a proper classy, almost academic speech.
Then we switched gears at @newquay.pub : @candler_band live, absolute chaos, all the legends and the not-so-bright locals… everyone showed up. Big love to all of you.
Tomorrow night we hit Paris (April 1st) at the Grand Rex for a 9PM screening, then straight after at @bookbarparis to meet the crew on their very first trip to the capital.
4 Years ago I met this legend & local Shaper @bellon_surfboard based near my house.
He was fixing boards and was making a lot of different/alternative surfboards, especially twin fins.
I really loved his work so we started building a relationship and work together on new designs to surf at home and abroad…
He’s not only a Shaper!! @bellon_surfboard 🎸
