When it comes to chasing the aurora, I’ve driven home empty-handed countless times. But yesterday was a different story. While at work, I received multiple notifications from NOAA indicating a strong aurora, and I have to admit, I was skeptical. However, as it get darker, I realized this chase was going to be unlike the others—the Bz signal was healthy. Despite feeling tired, I knew I had to go, and to my surprise, it turned out to be an incredible show. After countless attempts, it finally paid off, and I’m really happy with how it turned out.
