Excited, and a little nervous, to see
@thezetterhotels open in the heart of Bloomsbury.
Originally six Georgian townhouses, the buildings were combined in the mid-20th century to form a hotel overlooking the
@britishmuseum on Montague Street.
Our aim was to balance the simple elegance of Georgian architecture with the eclectic spirit of its world-renowned neighbour. After years of searching through auction houses across England and Europe, countless fairs, and working with incredible dealers, we have curated close to 2,000 antiques.
Pieces span the globe from Oceanic, American, African, Asian, and European origins with a strong 18th-century English collection that grounds the interiors. Alongside these, hundreds of antique textiles have been carefully repurposed into cushions and lampshades, adding layers of history, texture, and character throughout.
A huge thank you to all the incredible suppliers and the
@thezetterhotels team for their support. And to our own
@_thurstan team: this project is a true reflection of your care, creativity, and relentless attention to detail.
