This season, I’m choosing not to rush what is still aligning. No more beating myself up for timelines that were never mine to control.
Progress is still progress—even when it’s slow, layered, and a little unclear.

Mothering is the only assignment I’m genuinely afraid to fail at.
Everything else in life offers a reset button — careers pivot, dreams evolve, plans can be redrawn. But this one… it shapes a human life.
So today, on Mothering Sunday, I’m reminded that while perfection isn’t the goal, presence, intention, and love must never be negotiable.

Recently, I was part of a project where all I truly brought to the table was direction .
While waiting, I watched the cameramen, editors, newswriters, teleprompter operators, and technical crew move with quiet urgency—adjusting lights, fixing cables, correcting scripts, solving problems no one will ever see on screen or hear over the microphone.
It struck me then, yet again that these men and women do far too much for the little recognition they receive.
Yet without them, the story doesn’t land, the moment doesn’t hold, and the beauty never fully forms.
Here’s to the behind-the-scenes media professionals—the unseen backbone of every polished production.
The shine is loud, but the real work is often silent.
