Time is a commodity we can’t get back and moments are what we decide to create so whilst they are young enjoy it as they grow be present and the moments that present themself be present in them ❤️

“WE BACK”
The First Quarter
This first quarter was filled with tragedy, peace, and resilience. I’ve learned that in the midst of tragedy, the aim is to find peace again. For me, that peace came through both noise and silence. Through self-reflection, I began to understand my mental strengths and weaknesses, and I found my own ways ways that work for me to remain calm in the middle of the storm.
I traveled back home to bury my grand-uncle and spend time with my grandad. In doing so, I also gave my daughter her first experience of what I truly believe is paradise on earth: Jamaica. We laughed, walked along the beach, and she spent precious time with her great-grandfather. Even in sadness, we managed to find light.
I traveled with my best friend my cousin for the first time in our 30 years. This first quarter has been full of first-time moments, moments that will live forever in memory.
Training this quarter has been good, bad, and painful but I don’t know what quitting is. Through pain, I will walk through it. Right now, I’m balancing work, fatherhood, and university life. But life is about balance, and I choose the balancing act.
