Earlier this week, techNL hosted Gov X Tech NL 2026, an event that brought together leaders from across Newfoundland and Labrador’s tech ecosystem and public sector to spark new connections, strengthen relationships, and open doors to future opportunities.
For #techNL members, it was an opportunity to increase visibility, share innovative solutions, and build clearer pathways into government procurement. For public sector partners, it offered direct access to the companies, innovation, and expertise helping accelerate the growth of Newfoundland and Labrador’s tech sector.
Thank you to our members, public sector participants, and the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer for the @govnlsocial for showing and making the event a huge success.

Applications are now open for Cohort 2 of techNL’s Mentorship Program, running from July to December 2026.
We are accepting applications for:
• 20 Mentees
• 2 Mentors
Application deadline: Monday, May 25 at 5 p.m.
This six-month program supports career-ready individuals, including recent graduates, newcomers, and members of equity-deserving groups, as they grow their careers in tech. Participants will connect with experienced mentors across Newfoundland and Labrador’s tech sector, set meaningful goals, gain guidance, and access resources to support their professional growth.
