5 years on E and I’m all grown up 🥹 There was a time in my life when I thought that no matter my effort I wouldn’t be able to see on the outside what I felt on the inside. How wrong I was. Nothing could have prepared me for how my life would change, how everything would finally make sense.
When I put on my first estradiol patch 5 years ago (they had me on patches 💀) I realized that up until that point I had been in survival mode without even realizing it. Today, I’m finally living. I am fulfilled in so many ways - by the community I am so grateful to call home, by the endless support of the people around me (you know who you are), by the music I’ve been making (you’ll hear it soon:3).
As I look to my future, I am thinking about how I will age, who I will be in another 5 years. I can’t wait to see what I’ll do, what I’ll look like, and where I’ll be. There’s so much more I want to experience, and there’s plenty of time:)
To everyone who was there for me in my lowest moments, I love you. To everyone who’s made me laugh in the last 5 years, I love you. And to my haters and doubters, I love you most of all<3
