I recently watched John Carpenters “Escape from LA.”
When I first watched it many years ago I didn’t appreciate it. This time I loved it.
So this week I’m diving down the Carpenter hole,,to rewatch some of the classics!
Last night it was “The Thing”
Tonight it’s “They Live.”
Friday night is “Big Trouble in Little China.”
Saturday is “Assault on Precinct 13.”
And Sunday we end the binge with his greatest work - in my humble opinion - “Escape from New York.”

I love Michael Mann, so it’s shocking to admit I had never watched Thief - James Caan -1981.
Finally watched it last night.
