Hey everyone! Now that we are almost a year into Covid and things are starting to settle down I wanted to start being present and post on my hair page again!
First let me introduce myself! My name is Samantha, Sam for short, and I am a stylist at Air Salon and Blow Dry Bar in Mandeville, Louisiana. I have been behind the chair for almost three years now and I LOVE my job! My hobbies include traveling, constantly looking for my next adventure with friends, meeting new people, taking extra certifications and classes to further my education behind the chair, and obsessing over my fur baby Paisley! If you know me you also know I am OBSESSED with elephants 🤩 (seriously I could watch them at the zoo for hours)! I’m a very positive/bubbly person and I am soooo passionate about what I do! I’m so grateful to work in a field that genuinely gets me excited to wake up in the morning!

It’s been all hands on deck at Air this week! Everyone has taken turns coming to the salon to disinfect and sterilize the building/equipment from top to bottom! We are even coming to the salon to go over sanitation requirements to make sure the salon is as safe as possible! Your safely, as well as our own, is our number one priority! With that being said, we have a few new guidelines for our clients to protect us during this crazy time! All employees of Air will be required to follow the same guidelines given to our guests.
1. Only one guest per licensed cosmetologist is allowed in the salon at any given tome. Children will not be permitted in the salon, unless they are receiving a service.
2. All guests will be screened by taking their temperature before entering the salon.
3. Guests will be required to sign a release, stating that they have not had a fever or other symptoms consistent with COVID-19 within the past 72 hours or have been in contact with individual with fever or other symptoms consistent with COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
4. Services will be declined for any guest that exhibits signs of illness, and/or temperature exceeds 100.3.
5. Guests will be required a face mask (that attaches around the ear) the entire tome they are in the salon.
6. Upon entering the salon, guests will complete the screening protocol and if their service provider is not ready, wait outside or in their car until their service provider is ready. Guests will receive a phone call when the service provider is ready.
7. Please sanitize your hands and phone at the sanitation station located at the entrance to the salon.
8. Food or drinks will not be allowed or served in the salon.
