Delaford Avenue is a contemporary remodelling of a former bungalow into a family home, boasting modern features; Elements include buff brick, concealed window frames, slim horizontal bricks complemented by vertical slate cladding.

Render vs reality: Waterhouse Gardens
Waterhouse Gardens’ amenities and reception areas were a stand-out from the design stage, unique joinery and elegant furnishings gave WHG’s internal spaces a sense of colourful character from the offset.
Seeing the final result against the concept, our team has not only brought the vision to life but perhaps even elevated it.

Good momentum across our three Manchester city-centre sites, with Waterhouse Gardens, Obsidian and W Residences Manchester all moving forward ahead of programme. Each unique scheme is taking shape in its own way, and it is good to see the Domis Construction teams busy across all sites as work continues on the ground. Delivery remains firmly on track.

A thoughtful proposal to extend a traditional farmhouse, introducing a pool house that draws on the simple forms of local agricultural buildings.
The new volume accommodates a leisure suite with a swimming pool, steam room and sauna, with the pool forming the heart of the space and enjoying southerly rural views across the landscaped gardens. Large format sliding doors on both elevations are carefully detailed to maximise views and daylight, keeping visual obstructions to a minimum and allowing the space to feel open and connected to its setting.
By day, the interior is naturally lit through generous glazing and rooflights. As evening falls, a soft and restrained lighting strategy creates a calm, atmospheric environment suited to dusk use. A contemporary glazed link, expressed as a smaller connecting volume, provides a clear and legible transition between the existing farmhouse and the pool house.
