Here are a few favorites from my branching abstraction series a while back. I never posted this series because i originally I just made them as Christmas gifts for friends and family. I’ve been diving back into this technique more again lately and excited to see how it evolves!
This series was a study in achieving, highlighting, and layering the branching fractal patterns you see to great depth in color and texture.

Mixed Media on wood
Earlier this month I got to dive into slip casting (thanks @clayartstudio814 for the guidance) and experiment with building ceramic forms and figures.
Both pieces are built from manipulated casts of vintage molds and reassembled into something new. Each piece has its own distinct vibe but both fall somewhere between functional and a little strange.
This was such a fun, new creative process. Can’t wait to dirty my hands again!
A few nice WIP textures from a new abstract painting I’m working on. Every time I paint on wood panel I wonder why I ever buy canvas again. I love it so much
