Adam’s debut entry to the Sulman Prize!😊
The Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes officially open this weekend at the @artgalleryofnsw . In the lead-up, we had to share Adam Mandarano’s Sulman Prize submission. While it wasn’t selected, we think it’s a spectacular first-time entry.👏
Massive in scale and full of personality, it’s inspired by the friends he works with and is a striking example of where Adam’s painting practice is heading. We can’t wait to see more.💞

Skipping and hopping into the weekend with another wonderful announcement. Congratulations #EmilyCrockford!👏🌳🦘
#repost @artbankau
We are hopping with excitement for this week’s #ArtbankNewAcquisitionAlert
Emily Crockford (b. 1986) lives and works in Sydney. She is a @_studio_a_ artist and is known for her colourful paintings, bright bold shapes and repeated patterns. Crockford has been awarded a number of major public art commissions and exhibited in various group exhibitions, including the prestigious Archibald Prize (3 times!). She has worked across a number of mediums but loves painting and has developed her own visual language that largely depicts the landscape around her and people in her life, often with some very Australian icons.
‘The Clouds with the Wallabies in the Grass’ is a wonderful example of Emily’s vibrant style, featuring some very cute wallaby friends. It was a finalist in the MAC Yapang Art Prize before being acquired by Artbank.
