On Wednesday I was honored as the 2025 Oklahoma Mother of the Year by Rep Chris Banning and past Mother’s of the Year. I am so thankful and honored to represent mother’s across the state of Oklahoma and share my story. If you would have told 16yr old Spring this would be her future, she would have laughed *and maybe yelled…IYKYK* !!! Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, this journey has been one of unexpected healing. I appreciate Deb, Delilah, Gerre, and Momma Lori and the rest of the American Mother’s crew so much for welcoming me into this incredible organization and family.

As most of you guys know I volunteer, a lot. Something I have worked really hard towards is the Presidential Volunteer Service award, but not just the 🥉🥈or 🥇 but the Lifetime Achievement Award. The lifetime achievement award is for those who complete more than 4,000 hours of service throughout their lifetime!! Well, I finally did it!!! I am so excited and I know dad is looking down proud💙

Monday I was VERY pleasantly surprised with being named the 2025 Tulsa Big Sister of the Year by Big Brother Big Sister. WOW!!! I am so thankful for this honor and the opportunity to be just a small part of my littles life. Anna and I have been together for several years now, 5 to be more specific, and I have watched her grow into a more confident young lady!!
