Today I was so happy. My depression melted away, I went to the aquarium, spent time with my family and my sister was in town from across the land, I met Kelvin Anderson (owner of VIP Records) and his whole family who reminded me it’s all mindset when it comes to this cancer thing, and got to hear legendary untold stories from Kelvin about early West Coast Hip-Hop History, and toured a bunch of hip-hop spots that run my mind. Tragniew park, Leuders Park, Kings Park, 21st & Lewis and even went to the wrong school in Compton where I thought @djquik filmed the safe and sound video. I messed that one up royalty! We went to tippy elementry instead of Dickison and I brought the record to take the picture with….🤣 I’ll post that picture in my story if you’d like to get a good laugh! We also stopped by our friend @rhythmsandjaz parents house while we were out there and that was a breath of fresh air and God doing what he does by putting certain people in my life right when I need them. (No pictures of this event other than a quick FaceTime video @rhythmsandjaz posted, also on my story) We are seriously thinking of moving to #LongBeach or #compton after today’s events. ☝🏼 thank you!
