Meeting @joe_sacco.1960 this past Sunday was an emotional moment. I first got my hands on a copy of āPalestineā in maybe 2001 or 2002 and for the first time I felt like someone was actually giving an actual āreal & honestā view of Palestine on the ground! Joe Sacco has inspired me ever since his lens and what he has seen brought awareness to many of us when there wasnāt camera phones or easy access to the rest of the world. He has opened the eyes of so many to the so many terrible affairs that have happened across the globe! His work is now more important than ever!
