A moment for the ✨DRESS & VEIL✨
We incorporated something OLD and something NEW into my wedding look 🤍
I said YES to the beautiful @maggiesotterodesigns “Fortune” clean ivory ballgown at @studioidobridals with a vision in mind. With the help of designer @mitchell_dane_carr , that vision came to life as we took pieces of my mom’s wedding dress and transformed them into a modern yet timeless design, blending her story with mine in the most meaningful way 🥹✨
After carefully removing the yellowing sequins, Mitchell and his team were able to highlight the original pearl beading, and the heirloom lace was hand-applied after altering the gown for a perfectly snatched fit.
The veil was another story… a royal cathedral veil made with soft, delicate tulle and a @martinalianabridal lace border. Between the veil and removable sleeves, 36 feet of trim were used and over 50 hours of handwork went into creating something so delicate, romantic, and completely one of a kind.
You couldn’t pay me to do a second look after this incredible piece of ART was made. Literally would wear this every day if I could… 🤍

Not only was she BEAUTIFUL, but also just as beautiful and kind on the inside! She quickly became one of my muses, and I always looked forward to having her in my chair.
I was absolutely honored when she asked me to be there on her wedding morning 🥹 The trust she put in me truly meant the world especially since she’s SO GOOD at doing her own makeup.
Her bridal preview was the first time SHE got to be in the driver’s seat and dictate her look while also trusting me to fill in the details 🤝
