Arina Nikolskaya is the founder of the SHIFT Project ( @_shift.project_ ) and the SHIFT Community app, and Academy Chair for Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Baltics for The World’s 50 Best Bars.
Named No.35 in Drinks International’s 100 Most Influential Figures in the Global Bar Industry, she directed the Moscow Bar Show until 2021 before relocating to Kazakhstan to launch the Nomad Bar Show, a travelling format spotlighting Central Asia’s emerging hospitality scene.
In 2023, she founded SHIFT Project to nurture underrepresented bar communities through mentorship, scholarships, and global networking—creating equal opportunities regardless of geography.
That mission is now supported by the SHIFT Community app, launched earlier this year and available to the community.
