It is traditionally understood that settling into a new year invokes change in large sweepsānew chapters, resolutions, and habits that we well intend to keep through December. But Entrepreneur and CEO of 360 Total Concept @shondascott360 suggests an alternate strategy to achieve transformation: try just one new thing per month over the course of one year. Tap the link in our bio to watch Shonda and Community Manager @_shelbsta talk about how this approach may change the way you view annual goal-setting.
If you have been following me for a while, you know I go off socials in January. Usually I stop scrolling cold, but Iāve been easing into year 5 with more alternatives.
1. Every time I listen to @charlesmetcalf and @abbyrosemetcalf I feel more capable to live like a light so I take notes while listening.
2. @voxdotcom has been my favorite news outlet for years and I finally purchased an annual membership. Please clap.
3. Iām posting on Substack for fun! Find meee.
4. I went in not knowing what āThe Wedding Peopleā by @alison.espach was about and I was so entertained. I love lengthy inner monologues and this came with them, and laughs, and a lil romance.
5. Saw @eyenesta live a few years ago and never looked back since.

I may be a grown working gal, but my mom is the one who is answering every call, funding the side projects, supporting all my ideas (including becoming a dog person). So, this mother-daughter experience was one of my favorites š
There is something so special about V4 and being one of thousands of people coming together in one place to meet with Godā¦needing something from Him. He shows up and itās such a beautiful display of unityāone that I think is missed these days. There was so much joy (and yes, tears) and vulnerability and renewal.
I may not have left knowing exactly what to do about everything, but itās so much better getting to know who you want to be.
Iāve been traveling a lot lately so when I got home, I had to give Bails a little change of scenery too with a nice long day in the park. Thereās very little that I wonāt do to see those little ears flop š„¹
