A second post this year? Unheard of. Anyway, this is a scene from Ivan’s childhood. It’s been really great going back to my roots post-semester to rediscover myself amidst the chaos and drawing tends to be my solution.
Experimental spatial representation elective assessment. Inspired by the works of jean-michel basquiat, Brett whiteley and Wassily Kandinsky to develop a large scale drawing that explores spatial sensation and the edge condition between art and architecture image-making.
I have lots of love for Akira and sadly I did get in my own head about this one so I struggled to finish it because of all the mistakes I made but I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I just abandoned it. The show must go on !
