DUM SPIRO SPERO.[THE PROJECT].
Whenever i create for self or people,i give equal attention to them.but for this body of work i had to take some long steps back to think, pray and carefully choreograph the pieces. And the way i felt you all can receive the message with clarity and ease.i strongly believe that this is my greatest body of work I have ever put together since I started dancing.i can’t wait to share with you all.
I hope this body of work help you find peace, clarity and strength in these times .🙏
HERE FOR YOU @avincin4u

Standing for someone doesn’t always have to wear the weight of money.Sometimes,it is softer than that.
a warm hug that says “you’re not alone,”
a gentle word that lifts a tired heart,
a call in the quiet moments,
or even a simple text that reminds someone they matter.
We often forget that growth isn’t a lonely journey. We rise,we heal, and heal together.
Each of us needing the other in ways seen and unseen.
So let the people close to you feel your
presence, your care, your willingness to stand beside them. Not just in grand gestures, but in the little things that quietly hold the world together.
Spread love.
Show concern.
In the smallest ways you can,
they are never small to the one who receives them.

BAD BLOOD @trusouthking
——
The hatred we sometimes carry within us because of offenses from family, friends, or even fellow believers, can be deeply troubling. Some have gone as far as withdrawing from the church, or even causing harm, simply because they were wounded by those they trusted, elders, choir leaders, or even pastors. Often, it is not just the offense itself, but the hardened heart that refuses to forgive.
The pain can be overwhelming, especially when it comes from those we least expect. Yet, when we search the Scriptures, we begin to understand the necessity and power of forgiveness.
Forgiveness is not primarily for the one who offended you,it is for you. It frees your heart from bitterness and restores your peace. The church is not a gathering of perfect people, but a place of growth,a work in progress, where imperfect people are being shaped by grace.
When the memory of the hurt resurfaces, choose to forgive again and again. As Scripture teaches, we are to walk in love, just as Christ has forgiven us continually. Let go of the bitterness, release the offense, and allow your heart to be softened. In doing so, you reflect the very heart of God.

The “How”
The how is a question many people ask.
softly, curiously, sometimes even in disbelief.
How are you coping with all of this?
How are you able to create and put out such magnificent art?
How is your health now?
Did you eat last night?
How do you keep going when your parent is gone?
How is your mental state holding up?
How are you still moving with a broken knee?
How do you still face the world like this?
And the truth is,not all these questions can be answered at once.some don’t even have words big enough to hold them.
But they can be felt, expressed and transferred into the art.
So ,the world may not hear every answer, but they will see it in the movement,in the pauses and in the weight behind every expression.
Sometimes, the work is deeply sown,
yet it looks like nothing is growing.
No applause. No obvious bloom.
Just quiet, unseen becoming. And that’s the very moment you must keep sharing
Share from love, not from pain turned bitter.
Let it be clear, not clouded.
Let it draw people in, not push them away.
With the tears.
With the scars.
With the hunger.
With the uncertainty.
With the injuries.
With the slow progress or even the sudden rise.
Keep showing up even when the “how” is still unanswered.

Finding X
Day 2
Sam Ollo led the artists through an exploration of movement rooted in the soul. His session focused on discovering personal movement language, creating balance through choreography, and allowing the body to speak with honesty and intention.
It was a space of listening to the body, to the breath, to the unseen rhythm within. @_samollo@thefutureofdance_company@ridwanrasheed_@femiadebajo_

Gratitude to @eddielove_ and the entire @steeze_afrika team for inviting me to this year’s Alkebulan event to share, and for the relentless work you continue to do,building communities, shaping culture, and uniting people through movement.
Yɛbɛhyia bio.
In the spirit of Alkebulan, we move as one.

You have given so much for what you truly believe in,
chin up and keep your eyes on the finish.
See it through because every step, every sacrifice, every moment of faith matters.
Giving up would waste the very courage that brought you here.
So rise, breathe, and continue forward.
Your persistence will carry you to the victory waiting ahead.
