We are happy to present our special Saturday plan — something truly unique. For the first time in Kraków, we’re hosting Tysk with their live performance.
TYSK is a Ukrainian electronic band from Kharkiv, bringing together musicians and visual artists who reinterpret broken electronic sound, blending it with references to the cultural code of the Ukrainian electronic scene and recitative. Their sound is a melting pot of electro, grime, and breaks. Translated from Ukrainian, “Tysk” means “pressure,” which perfectly reflects their intense live performances.
Over the past few years, TYSK has performed at numerous festivals and clubs (Brave! Factory, Outra Cena, Control Club, Closer, Europavox, Circulation(s), Fitzroy, etc.). They have also created an audiovisual performance titled “Tysk.Dosvyd” (Pressure.Experience), inspired by their experiences during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, which they presented on a European tour.
In August 2023, TYSK founded the Centre for New Culture “Some People” in Kharkiv — the largest city in eastern Ukraine, located just 40 kilometres from the front line. The initiative aims to prevent cultural stagnation caused by the outflow of young people and the disruption of cultural life due to the war. In just two years, a strong community has formed around the club, with the team organizing showcases featuring key artists from the European electronic scene while continuing to support the city’s development.
Also on the lineup: debut dj set at Sekta of experienced producer and DJ Sasha Pervukhin. The night will be opened and warmed up by local enthusiast Sakrum, with the closing set delivered by Sekta Selekta resident Karma.
Fans of multi-genre electronic music are warmly invited!
