The dynamic duo from the new school taking the dance industry by storm. From fransfamilia @_danko.k_ & @fransman.ace
Their style influenced mainly by incorporating Sbhujwa, but also Panstula and elements of Bhenga/Gqom. They have birth a new wave style which is widely becoming the way dancers have approached Amapiano music in recent times.
They will be delivering a workshop which they have coined as frans movement!!

This practitioner needs no introduction!! A true Pantsula advocate and pioneer with over 2 decades of experience teaching and living the culture authentically and unapologetically. He is continuously pushing the Pantsula culture but also South African dance altogether!

Our Final Teachers for SA LIVE Durban are the unique trio known as DMOB featuring @kerwin_nunn_wade@zainkhaliva_dmob and Sabelo “Burger” with their unique and versatile approach to Bhenga. Kerwin founded the style “Uprising street style” which captures essence of the foundations of Bhenga but with his own unique twist which is commonly used amongst other dancers in Durban. DMOB were also featured in “I’M Gqom” which is the dance and music documentary curated by our founder which aims to spotlight some of the groundbreaking talent in Durban.
They are coming together to deliver a powerful workshop on Uprising street style of Bhenga but also how to implement the style from a freestyle perspective!!
