Photos shot while filming “Paradise Ranch” for @hurley . More images to come in the future. _____________________________ Coming back onto this space after a long hiatus to share something I’ve dubbed “Paradise Ranch”. It’s meant to be a glimpse into the unique position @tajlindblad occupies in both the surfing and roping worlds and shed a little light onto how that even came about. Thanks to @hurley for coming on board and supporting this; for giving @tajlindblad and I the freedom to create something we’re passionate and proud off. It will be dropping with @hurley sometime next month and if your in the San Clemente area, the full 5:30 minute piece will be up for a small viewing @oldcrowsmokehousehb on 8:8:24. If you’re in the area and interested! DM me for details!

~ Stirring up dust ~ Something I’m excited about in the works with @tajlindblad Been working with him collecting some footage and photos of his dual passions: roping and surfing. Having something you can mull over, reflect and fine tune is so refreshing.. Excited to continue to watch this one develop and unravel Taij’s story. Stay tuned for the finished product in the coming months.

The “trip within a trip”. Documenting and following @chrisburkard and @republicofdoom along the Forgotten Coast was its own epic. The final article on the trip with @theradavist just released and it focuses on the trip from the media teams perspective, highlighting what great lengths we had to go to to document the trip. Check it out! Link is in my bio!

Moving through a painted landscape. ________________________ @chrisburkard & @republicofdoom paddle through the colorful glacially braided Þjórsá. The scale is hard to capture while still being able to visualize @chrisburkard & @republicofdoom reposition their small pack-rafts to deeper water. Currently wrapping a piece from my perspective on the trip, set to release on @theradavist soon. Stay tuned. PS: massive thanks to Chris for envisioning and plotting this route, feel blessed to have been along to document it.

When we left them on day 3 spirits were high. But as we traveled to a section of the coast we could access the weather shifted.. and we all knew they were going through hell. We finally saw the guys and it was so wet it was hard to shoot. Easily the wettest weather I’ve ever tried to shoot in, counting a particularly wet trip in Scotland. When you stepped outside you were drenched in minutes, my bag rain covers failed within 10 minutes. And they were out there for hours. ______________________ “Sand became our mortal enemy, when wet it would stick to everything, including our hands, and after hours of handling the bikes, our hands were left numb and battered… … This was truthfully some of the worst weather I’d seen in Iceland during summer. And we were stuck in it. Experiencing everything it had to offer.” - excerpt from the Forgotten Coast article live on @theradavist
