Coming back onto this space after a long hiatus to share something I’ve dubbed “Paradise Ranch”. It’s meant to be a glimpse into the unique position @tajlindblad occupies in both the surfing and roping worlds and shed a little light onto how that even came about.

The “trip within a trip”. Documenting and following @chrisburkard and @republicofdoom along the Forgotten Coast was its own epic. The final article on the trip with @theradavist just released and it focuses on the trip from the media teams perspective, highlighting what great lengths we had to go to to document the trip.

@chrisburkard & @republicofdoom paddle through the colorful glacially braided Þjórsá. The scale is hard to capture while still being able to visualize @chrisburkard & @republicofdoom reposition their small pack-rafts to deeper water.
Currently wrapping a piece from my perspective on the trip, set to release on @theradavist soon. Stay tuned.

When we left them on day 3 spirits were high. But as we traveled to a section of the coast we could access the weather shifted.. and we all knew they were going through hell.
We finally saw the guys and it was so wet it was hard to shoot. Easily the wettest weather I’ve ever tried to shoot in, counting a particularly wet trip in Scotland. When you stepped outside you were drenched in minutes, my bag rain covers failed within 10 minutes. And they were out there for hours.
