Wow! still unbelievable how everything happened so naturally and so fast.
A few years ago, my cousin and I decided to visit Accra, just to unwind, reconnect with family, and enjoy a change of pace. Little did I know that this simple trip would quietly change my life forever.
One day, we went out for a pottery session, just for fun. We laughed, played with clay, and created memories with Nana Kwame, our dear friend, without any idea that something even more beautiful was unfolding. In the middle of all that joy, Nana Kwame mentioned his brother, Cyrus. He smiled and said he believed Cyrus and I would get along really well.
When I finally met Cyrus, something just clicked. He was spectacular in the most effortless way. What started as easy conversations slowly turned into closeness, comfort, and a deep connection neither of us rushed, but both of us felt. From something so simple, love grew quietly and steadily into an unbreakable bond.
I am endlessly grateful that I get to spend a lifetime with Cyrus. He made it so easy for me to be my truest self, to feel seen, safe, and completely loved and that is the most beautiful beginning I could have ever asked for.
