@Emma_Rose_Eye ’s beautiful words about her mother:
“My mom is truly my best friend. She has been my constant source of love, strength, and encouragement for as long as I can remember. I’ve always been able to tell her anything, knowing she would listen without judgment and support me in every way possible.
When I was diagnosed with type one diabetes at just 10 months old, she took on that challenge with incredible courage and grace. She not only cared for me, but made sure I grew up understanding my condition so I could confidently take care of myself. Because of her, I am able to thrive today, and I carry that strength with me into every part of my life.
On my wedding day, she was right by my side, just as she has always been. She helped me into my dress, calmed my nerves when the emotions felt overwhelming, and reminded me to be present in every moment. Even in such a big milestone, she was still the one grounding me and lifting me up.
I am so proud to be her daughter. She has shown me what unconditional love, resilience, and kindness look like, and I only hope that one day I can be the kind of mother to my children that she has been to me.”
