Thanks to all the people who came out, especially those who didn’t scare from the early rain! Great crowds and lots of good fun.
I honestly was not looking forward to the event. As a business owner, it’s a lot of planning and preparation for these events, but I’m happy to say “I had a fun day at work” during Fear Fest.
Thanks to @pkfearfest@_rough_tumble_@thefutureartifact and @smiths_horror_maze and the host of other hard working people for taking the whole event to another level this year. I dare say you helped put PK on the map.

This month was about openings and thresholds. Bloom Break filled The Future Artifact with fractured colour and mirrored psyche. The Shuffle once again animated Port Kembla’s streets into a circuit of discovery.
And then came …
@the_weddingchapel , a heartfelt experiment in place-making and ritual, shaped in collaboration with @_rough_tumble_ .
A small room made cinematic, designed to hold portraits, vows, and fleeting moments that rise above the everyday. The launch reminded us that scale matters: intimate enough to feel personal, flexible enough to invite community in.
In the Billycart Index: a wedding-white billycart, orchids and ribbons trailing, orange seat glowing inside — a playful symbol of ceremony in motion.
