I got to meet Dick Valentine in 2010 and I just got to see @electricsixofficial again last night at Dante’s. One of my favorite bands and I’m so grateful to keep getting my world rocked by one of my favorite bands ever.
I’ll watch the openers at a concert but I save my knees for the headliner. @radmaxrocks is fucking killing it and if I were younger I’d be upright up front.

I love this mic. I love the community it has fostered. I’m spending a lot of time just being gobsmacked by all the things I am grateful for lately.
Thank you to @amaeveconnor and @kikidoescomedy for giving me the opportunity. Thank you @jordie_burns for co hosting the shit out of the mic last night. Last but not least thank you to each and every person who has rooted for me in any way shape or form. When folks believe in me it does real damage to negative impressions I have of myself and it helps me remember how much a kind word, shoulder to cry on, and a friend to joke with is needed. All I can do is return the favor and pay it forward.
Ok, now that we've recovered from our anniversary celebration (wow that was a lot of cake) it's time to get ready for the next Nu-Glitter 🌈🌈🌈

I go to therapy twice a week these days. If you take a pen from the front they don’t want it back. I’m slowly building an army of PaperMate InkJoy pens with black ink, and learning how much I need to work on. I want to be a better person for me and the people I care about. I promise I’m trying, but it’s hard and I’m tired. Here’s hoping I have something funny to say soon 🤞
I accidentally stole the cherries from @titsupcomedy last Friday. Maybe I just wanted a reason to shoutout another open mic in Portland that I love. When I started doing comedy in Portland I did not recommend folks to come watch any of the mics. And now there are multiple in town that I can stand behind as being a good show for the audience as well as the performers. Thank you to all the folks creating spaces and events for the comedy community and the greater community of Portland too.
