Графика первого вздоха
Я долго думала, что могла бы подарить близкой подруге, чтобы поздравить ее с рождением первого ребенка. Поскольку я сама очень не люблю лишние предметы в доме и стараюсь потреблять разумно, подарок хотелось придумать функциональный, нужный и очень особенный.
Сначала я с удивлением обнаружила, что младенцы в первые недели своей жизни не различают цвета, видят все черно белым и не слишком четким. Затем оказалось, что исследования подчеркивают важность черно-белых геометрических карточек для развития младенцев, так как контрасты между черным и белым цветами на карточках помогают стимулировать зрительное восприятие у новорожденных.
Да и это просто отличный способ занять малыша 🐒
Так появилась идея создать карточки для развития зрения младенцев. Первый подход случился! Однако, будут еще варинты и, мечтаю, что сделанные вручную без привлечения типографии. А то мне не понравилось с ними договариваться 🦖

The Graphics of the First Breath
For a while, I pondered over what I could gift to my close friend to congratulate her on the birth of her first child. Since I am not fond of unnecessary items cluttering up the house I wanted the gift to be functional, useful, and truly special of course.
At first, I discovered that infants in their first weeks of life perceive colors differently, seeing everything in black and white and not very clearly. Then it turned out that research emphasizes the importance of black and white geometric cards for infant development, as the contrasts between black and white colors on the cards help stimulate visual perception in newborns. Plus, it’s just a great way to have some fun.
So the idea of creating visual development cards for infants emerged. The first approach happened, however, I believe there will be more options, and I dream that they will be handmade without involving typography sometime later.

Пару лет назад именно с этой иллюстрации началась моя работа над использованием аналоговых материалов в диджитал анимации.
Не проблема использовать любые рукотворные текстуры для иллюстраций, однако трудности начинаются, когда красишь кадр за кадром анимацию, процесс становится невыносимо долгим и сложным, а работа над каждым отдельным кадром занимает до получаса (коих в секунде до 12 штук).
Благодаря этой босоногой летней девчушке, сделанной под впечатлением от жаркого, полного свободы и приятной скуки лета я нашла пути ускорения процесса, что позволило создать многие другие работы, не отказываясь от сложного исполнения и использования ручного труда.
A couple of years ago, I created this illustration and occasionally worked on animations for it. It was my first attempt to combine analog textures, created with a roller and letterpress ink, with completely digitally created animation.
This piece remained an illustration as I only colored the character's legs and realized that Procreate is not suitable for working with analog textures. However, this summer girl, whom I created inspired by a hot, carefree summer, bare and free, will always be my favorite. Thanks to her, I found the opportunity to incorporate handmade textures into my work, enriching my animation style with a personal touch.

Искусство – это не только краски на холсте, но и внутренний мир, который художник каждый раз распахивает перед зрителем.
Я вот каждый раз в ужасе и страшно боюсь зрителя, я готова сколько угодно делиться коммерческой свей работой, но не личным творчеством.
Несколько месяцев назад попытка вести системно инстаграмм так, как посоветовала мне знакомая пиарщица истощила меня примерно до нуля и помогла лишь утратить мотивацию делиться своим творчеством. Я не получила результата. Только опыт, который сын ошибок трудных 😆
Видимо, реальность устроена иначе и такие представления о том, как приходит результат, ей не соответствуют.
По крайней мере в моей сфере, по крайней мере для меня.
Months ago, an attempt to systematically manage Instagram as advised by a PR acquaintance drained me to almost zero, only diminishing my motivation to share my creativity. I received no results. Zero.
However, now colleagues, fellow artists, and animators are simply subscribing to me. I have twice the followers with zero investment. I'm not wasting time or money; I speak when I have something to say, share when I have something to share.
And every day, I'm elated to know there are those for whom my art resonates.

I hope I will have enough time to make some easy animations from time to time, just to explore new expressive ways to communicate with the audience.
I made numerous commercial projects rather than personal ones. And it has changed my approach in many ways. The saddest change is the decrease of expressiveness (because that’s not the main idea of advertising, ha-ha)
It’s my time! And I’m gonna do what I want. Even the badassss dirty animations I always loved 😆
