I remember when I dreamed of just seeing “1 Million” anything. I knew this was possible, I knew & I know I’m ganna get where I want to be. But to actually see these numbers is insane when it happens.

Wayyyy back on Kehlani’s project “Cloud 19” I did a cover to one of her songs “Get away” I released on SoundCloud (3rd slide), & that became a big song for me at the time when I was just really starting music.
She ended up liking the song & reposting it. But I worked an overnight shift at burgerking at the time & woke up late afternoon to a bunch of messages about it. I couldn’t believe it.
Fast forward I now got to meet her. She’s obviously beautiful, lol. But man she’s always put out great music, and I’ve clearly been listening for a long time.

Definitely @wale has been the biggest inspiration on why I started with poetry & had first incorporated spoken word into my music from the early days. Also due to my struggles with anxiety, & overthinking everything. These were my outlets. Fast forward I started back with spoken word. Now I met you.
