Musical Theatre Showcase 2026❤️
It was a rough go this year, but we pulled it together! I’m proud of each and every student on this stage. Thank you for sharing your voices and your hearts.
Three years ago today, a goofy white husky came running up to me on the on the sidewalk so she could say hello to my dog. Her mom told me her name was Woolsey. I told her my dog’s name was Wilder. We chatted for a minute, and then went on our separate ways… a typical dog dad/dog mom random interaction I had no way of knowing at the time but a few months later, we’d start bumping into each other while on the running trails, but still only knew the names of our dogs. A few months after that, we ended up meeting again on Strava (running app where I stole her local legend status on a a nearby run section), and then again on IG. I now knew Woolsey’s mom’s name was Reesa, and she knew Wilder’s dad’s name was Justin. A few months after that and running into eachother more often, we became great friends. That was sometime early/mid 2024. Now flash forward to today, three years after Woolsey came running over to meet my dog, and it’s been a while of being in love with her Mom, Reesa. And although it’s been a little over three months since Woolsey passed away way too young from cancer, not a day has gone by that I don’t think of that goofy howling white wolf and how I’m forever grateful that she shifted the course of my life by running over to meet my dog which led me to meet her and her mom. I know my personal story involves love and romance, but I also know that every single person Woolsey met, she impacted in some equally positive way. She was that kind of dog ❤️.
