From New York to Liverpool 🤍
G & P are New Yorkers - naturally cool and refined. They actually held their ceremony in NY but P originates from Liverpool so they decided to bring the party here.
Their style is chic, very timeless and almost minimal.
We agreed on a modern, sculptural design to fit perfectly with the first wedding to take place in the newly refurbished suite at @the_bluecoat
Clean white tiers paired with the most fluffy, pretty white ranunculus from @artasflowersliverpool kept the design timeless and elegant. The pleated bottom tier was inspired by the bride’s beautiful wedding dress — a subtle, personal detail woven into the design.
One of my favourite things about creating bespoke wedding cakes is translating parts of your story into something completely unique to you. We also catered for the guests who required extra care 🩶
It was a beautiful day, the staff at the venue were endlessly helpful 😀

One of the things that’s shaped how I run my business—alongside 15 years in the wedding industry—is my background in law.
Before this, I spent many years working in family law and teaching contract law and sale of goods to business students. It provided comprehensive problem solving skills that I constantly use.
It means that the way I structure my client experience isn’t just about creativity—it’s about clarity, fairness, and making sure everything is properly in place for both sides. That we have full appreciation of our obligations to each other during the time we work together.
It’s something I’ve always done quietly in the background… but I’m starting to realise how valuable that knowledge can be for other creatives too.

It’s a rare thing for me to deliver a wedding cake to a venue I haven’t visited before…
But I had the pleasure of discovering @abbeywoodestate for the first time while setting up for C & L—and what a hidden gem it is.
The glasshouse was absolutely perfect for a May wedding, with sunshine streaming in, beautiful florals from @peonyroseflorist , and thoughtfully styled table details created by the couple.
I’m so happy they chose my meadow cake. We added sunflowers to tie in with their theme, and it looked so pretty in the space.
These are my favourite moments—everything is set, and there’s that quiet pause before the couple steps in to share it all with their loved ones.
