The Cleanest I’ve Ever Been In My Life. - This choice I have made did not come from a rock bottom to run and go do this. In fact this choice came from multiple rock bottoms, loss, loneliness, fear, anger, frustration, guilts, sorrow, insecurities, depression. I sat with all those things for many years, and still did not rush to do this, and as I prayed for patience it led me to reflect on a major thing, that I somehow got through all of those things. And had the strength as I continued to struggle with some of those things. We often focus too much in the pain of now to be able to realize the weave of all the good things that was and is. - I took my time with this. And felt something calling me to do this. A feeling and need so strong, that it outweighed any negative thoughts,depression and sorrow that I’ve felt before. A change, and not a free pass, yet the complete opposite. This is a commitment to work harder, to better myself and better anyone around me, everyone around me. Something that would have scared me too much to do so, but my Faith reached me when it was supposed to, and Jesus spoke and I read and I listened. So Upon seeing this there is probably an immediate reaction people make of this, and deciding to themselves that ‘Oh, he’s that kind of guy now’, and said in two very different types tones. To both of those tones I say YES! People applaud when someone turns away from drugs and puts down booze, but sometimes conflicted when someone turns to God and picks up a Bible. But, This is a Statement of my Faith, and decision to be bold with, loudly, and not fearing what others might whisper. A better me, loving with the same face, with bigger faith. - Love to all and God Bless You All For whoever is not against us is for us AMEN

He’s been one of the most impactful people on my skateboarding and I’m blown away that I call him my friend and brother. From CRAWL, to WALK ON WATER and now……. JOY RUN. - I wanted to try and be as vulnerable as I could while filming CRAWL knowing how embarrassing I felt being on my board. Knowing I couldn’t do what I once could, but wanted to challenge my progress and document that to hopefully encourage others. I knew that in my mind I had big accomplishments but my body was not capable yet. PROCEED! - Then WALK ON WATER, feeling a little more confident but still shaky and hesitant I continued and felt the spark and a little less self conscious on who I once was, and who I am becoming. I knew I had to keep the spark going and add another part to make this a trilogy because I had more in the tank. PROCEED! - JOY RUN is something I’ve been pushing myself both mentally and physically to really tie this together. Not to outdo anyone else, but to outdo myself. I’ve been Blessed to be able to do this all, through friends that encouraged me, motivated me and took the time to be patient with me. And the fact that the Good Lord Blessed me to do all of this. Thank You friends, Thank You Family, Thank You Skateboarding and Most of all, THANK YOU Father God, THANK YOU Jesus. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. PROCEED!
