1 year ago today, I made the best decision I could ever make. I had alone attended a regular church service on a Saturday night. I remember the pastor talking about feeling tired of being/feeling stuck. Stuck in our sin, stuck whether you're fighting addiction, depression; stuck with past trauma, or even stuck living in the same cycle.
"Whoever wants a fresh start or fully wants to be devoted to Christ, no more one foot in, one foot out , come forward". And to be honest I was one of the last people to go to the front. My heart felt so heavy but it's true... I was EXHAUSTED of this spirit-crushing cycle I was in! I was extremely excited to have a fresh new start , no more of my bad habits. Letting go of all that didn't serve me or the Lord anymore. That God was going to break all of those chains right away.
Soon after my baptism, I did fall heavy back into my old patterns. Spiritual warfare hit heavy and I was dealing with spiritual attacks from left to right. God genuinely was picking apart the bad fruit that still leeched on to me. Before anointing oil is made, it is first crushed. The crushing that is made with pressure and brokenness. That is exactly what the Lord our Father did...
He called me back home. There was nothing left for me physically so he called me back home where I would have a new calling spiritually.
Thank you Jesus for renewing my mind, restoring my heart and soul. Removing and revealing! Jesus You have always been faithful. I thank You throughout the good and bad. I thank You that I had to be that oil that was crushed before being made in its true form! By His blood I am washed & made new!!!

I give Jesus all the praise & glory. This wasn't just a dance, this was worship and rejoicing. Laying it all down for our Lord and Savior. You can have it ALL God.
