Hello fam! The first 3 tracks of @fortunesignal ’s first v/a are out today and I’m hyped for you to hear them. We put our heart and soul into putting this comp together and it’s something I’m truly proud of. It started with taking a bit of a step back towards the end of 2024 to clarify what we really want to do with this label… What sound do we feel like is really “ours?” What actually gets us fired up? What are we excited to play? What kind of people are we excited to work with? What statement do we want to make? Putting out music is a shit ton of work. One time I wrote down every task in between saying “yes, we want to release that” and release day. There were, no joke, 76 steps. “Visions” really represents the creative vision for where we’re steering the label now. I think with this fresh focus, those 76 steps will be more worth it than ever.
