All books of the bible put to song! 🔥🙌 Brand new project! Expected release: October 2022. First up: the book of Isaiah. Almost 3 hours of music with one on one Scripture. This is just a short compilation of songs from the book of Isaiah. Project of Love is currently working on 16 books of the bible and counting..🔥🔥 - Project of Love has the mission to put all books of the bible to song. Words of Life, sung to life. This project is born out of a deep love for the Word of God ❤️ We'd love your support. Feel free to follow us and share with your friends! 🙌 - Project of Love is founded by Xander Stok, Dutch professional singer-songwriter. About 3 years ago, his life changed dramatically. In the midst of a severe depression he found God. Soon after that, his 20+ years of battling depression and longing for death were lifted off of his shoulders. Many miraculous things happened in the following weeks. One of them was an almost animal-like craving for reading the Bible. In January 2021, when reading the book of Isaiah, a quiet voice whispers: “Grab your guitar and sing what you’re reading.” He did just that, and - to his own surprise - out came a beautiful song, and then another one.. In a little more than 3 weeks he’d created 32 Isaiah songs. During a period of 1,5 years he devoted himself completely to record, mix and produce them all. Close to 3 hours of music. One on one Isaiah scripture put to song. But, it didn't stop there: currently he's working on 17 books and counting! Join Xander on his journey, share these songs and spread the Word!🔥🙌😉 - All music created, mixed and produced by: Xander 'Nax' Stok @nax_music All scripture from the New Living Translation @nltbible @tyndalebibles Video by: Janis van der Linden @i_am_djen #projectoflove #bookofisaiah #worship #worshipsongs #biblesongs #isaiah #isaiah9 #isaiah27 #isaiah30 #isaiah49 #isaiah52 #isaiah53 #isaiah55 #isaiah60 #isaiah61 #bible #tyndale #tyndalepublishing #tyndalebibles  #singtogod #christiansongwriters #nltbible #songsofpraise #songsforjesus #songsforgod #nltbibledaily #scripture #scripturesongs #thechosen #newlivingtranslation

Hi guys! I'm Xander Stok (@nax_music ) the founder of and man behind Project of Love. I get a lot of questions who Project of Love is.. well, it's just me 😊👋 This all started because some time ago (January 2021), while reading Isaiah 12 in my quiet time, a gentle voice whispered: "grab your guitar and sing what you're reading." I did and to my surprise, out came a beautiful song! Three months later I had a dream, in which Jesus explained to me: "this is our project of Love, together we will show the heart of the Father to the world". (hence the name ;) Until 4 years ago, I wasn't even a believer. I was a singer/guitarist in a rockband. Suffered from severe depression for over 20 years. Lived a suicidal lifestyle. I never felt at home in this world. Had many addictions to fill the hole in my soul. Then four years ago, I had an encounter with my amazing Papa. He took me out of the pit, gave me new life, new clothes, a mission, and here I am. I quit my job and am putting the Bible to music. For as long as He wants me to. Never in a million years had I dreamed I would be doing this. I had heard of the Bible, but found it a stuffy, dusty old book. That was then. These days, I NEED it. He filled me with a deep love and hunger for His beautiful Word! So, I just started writing music. At this moment I have around 30+ books I've put to music. It's a LOT of work just for one man..but He guides me every step of the way. In more ways than I can explain here.. My beautiful wife, @i_am_djen , makes all my videos and artwork. I'm SO grateful for that, without her I would be completely overwhelmed. She provides the eye candy for the ear candy 🔥👌😊 If you would like to support me and this Project of Love, I'd really appreciate it. Right now, I'm basically living of the donations of sweet, generous people all over the world. If you'd like to donate, you can do so on projectoflove.com (link in bio) Thank and bless you guys, for all your loving, encouraging words, your prayers (!!), your donations. God is doing "a new thing" (Isa 43)! 🔥🙌😉 Xander #projectoflove #testimony #Godislove

This is one of those scriptures that has been on my wishlist to set to music for a while now. But, as most of you know by now, I don't just put any scripture to song; only those that the Spirit highlights for me. Those scriptures come alive to me, and it's like God Himself starts singing them. The same goes for Isaiah 7, the verse about Immanuel. This summer, I started reading Isaiah again, and when I read these verses, He turned the light on! It landed deep in my heart. And so, I was determined to make this an ode to Jesus. When I create songs specifically meant for Jesus, I always tell Him not to cheat and not to listen in before I've finished it. 😅 Anyway, you all know what Immanuel means, right? It means "God (is) with us." Now, I could talk about that till I'm blue in the face, but instead, I want to share one of the many testimonies people send us. They all prove that God is indeed with us. We receive testimonies of healing, deliverance, and miraculous encounters with God. But this week, we received such a beautiful and 'simple' testimony from one of our listeners, it just filled my heart with joy and gratitude. This is her testimony: "I accepted salvation from and by Jesus today at church. I got in my truck to drive home, and my phone played this song (Colossians 1: Learn to Know You) through the truck speakers... but absolutely no apps were open on my phone, there was no way to control it, and there was no way to tell what it was. I just listened to it, and every word spoke to me perfectly. Then I typed in each line I could remember from the lyrics into a Google search to try and find the song... nothing came up, but Bible Hub brought up Colossians 1:10. I read the verses of Scripture around that, and all the context further spoke to me - past, present, and future. Then I searched for the Colossians 1:10 song on YouTube, and here it is!! Thank you for your important blessed work! This day will always be special! This song will always be special! And it's awesome to already have a way to write this special Scripture in my heart through memorizing it in song. Thank You, Jesus!!!💛" You see? Immanuel: God is with us! 🙌❤️😉 -

In the weeks and months to come, we will replace some of our older videos. This is the second one in that series: Jeremiah 29 - I Know the Plans I Have for You. Be sure to share it with your friends and loved ones, anyone who needs a bit of encouragement! 😊❤️ Xander's original devotional on Jeremiah 29: Most of us know this encouraging scripture very well: "For I know the plans I have for you, plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." This was once spoken to Israel and is still very relevant for Israel. However, we, as the spiritual sons and daughters of Abraham, may now also embrace these promises as our own. But the next verses are probably a little less known. They say: "(...) when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me." (Jer. 29:12-13 NLT) Did you catch that little word: wholeheartedly? It means with ALL your heart. You see, God's promises are 100% reliable and dependable. But God is not obligated to fulfill them for you. It's like this: you could say, "One day I'm gonna be a doctor." But if you never read a book or study, then I sure hope I never end up on your operating table... The same goes for God. It's not enough to say, "I believe in God," so these promises will automatically come to pass. You will have to invest in your relationship with Him, just like any other relationship. He has good plans for you. But you still have free will. You can take a left when a right would have been better. So how do you recognize what He's planned for you? Look for Him, meaning get to know Him. Pray, meaning talk with Him and be honest. 😉 Study Him; read His book. Be in His presence daily, look at the birds, look at the trees, and act out what you've read in your daily devotional. It's not enough to just read about it. Love is a noun, but it is also a verb. It doesn't mean anything if you can't show love. In other words, fill your heart with all things good, godly, and true. And then you will see all the glorious things God has waiting for each of us. 🙌 ---- Project of Love is the Bible in song. #jeremiah29 #jeremiah2911 #projectoflove #propheticworship #b

Years ago, somebody gave me a Bible. This was before I had given my life to God. I had looked at it maybe once or twice, but it didn't speak to me at all. In fact, I wondered why anyone could be interested in a book that seemed so obsolete and boring. Years later, I had a powerful encounter with God that changed my life completely. After that, I knew I should be reading the Bible. After all, I'd better read the manual, right? But, man, I dreaded the thought of having to read that book. So I prayed a very simple prayer: "God, let me read the Bible as a boy's adventure book." The next day, when I started to read the Bible, it was like I was actually there! As if I had ended up in Narnia through the wardrobe. The word was alive and powerful to me! A raw hunger filled me, and I devoured the pages. There were times I actually wanted to stuff my mouth with the pages. I was hungry; no, I was famished! Little did I know that two years later, God would give me Project of Love, the Bible in song. You see, when Hebrews 4:12 talks about, "The word of God is alive and powerful. It's sharper than any two-edged sword.." It doesn't mean that the print or text is alive. If it were, you could put a Bible on a table to fend off any evil spirit. I had a Bible, but the text was "dead" until the Holy Spirit made it "alive" in my heart, turning written print into a personal, moving experience. Turning logos (the written word) into rhema (a living, active, "quickened" word). So, without the Spirit, without His breath on the word, you have nothing—a Bible on a table. Nice to look at, decorative entertainment, but "dead." Certainly not a threat to the enemy. Everything with God is relational. It's like the dancer in the video dancing with the fire (Holy Spirit). Soul and Spirit. God is looking for hearts yielded to Him. Without His Spirit, worship becomes empty words and a blunt sword. Mere entertainment. Much like the AI-generated worship music that's flooding the world. It's dead; it has no soul, no Holy Spirit, just entertainment. Exactly the way the devil likes it: a Bible on a table. God's word is relational. It's a dance between you and His Spirit.🔥

It's probably one of the hardest things to find: real peace. Before I knew God, I was constantly looking for peace. Peace of mind, peace of heart, peace of spirit. And I was looking in all the wrong places: the company of women, having casual relations, sleeping pills, numbing my spirit with alcohol, p*rn.. you name it. And some of the stuff seemed to work. But only for a short while. And then I went looking for some more 'peace'. It's a never-ending cycle and if anything, it got me more jaded, wanting and needing more. The night I surrendered my life to God, I was completely drained, hollow, beat, stuck, broken.. I cried out to Him: this is no life! I can't do this anymore, You can have it all! And He answered me.. drumroll please.. with Peace. Real, genuine, everlasting Peace. A peace I had never ever experienced before in my whole life. That transcended every notion I had of peace. I had to surrender to receive that Peace. To enter that Peace. And that very same Peace is what He wants to give you, wants you to have. Like waves, rolling over you. I am the Lord. I Am. Much like Psalm 46: "be still (surrender) and know that I am God". *** These weeks and months to come, we will replace some of our older videos. As most of you know, before I release a new series of Scripture songs, I ask the Holy Spirit to guide me in releasing the right scriptures at the right time. I can't claim I get it right every time, but the many testimonies from our listeners prove we're on the right track. 😉 Well, ever since the start of 2026, I've been led by the Spirit to write songs with scriptures dealing with these three themes: faith, don't be afraid, and give Me your burdens. And today is no different: Psalm 55 - "Wings Like a Dove." It's about David; he's trapped and sees no way out. He's so fearful that he actually says, "I can't stop shaking" (verse 5, NLT). Tell me, how scared would you have to be to say, "I can't stop shaking"? But times haven't changed that much; take a look around. This world is on its last legs. And maybe we, like David, sigh: "I want to get away and leave it all behind." Actually, David was too much of an artist to say it like that; he said, "Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away, far away." You know, before I knew God, I battled with severe depression for well over 20 years. And like so many others, I started to self-medicate—numb the pain, anxiety and despair. Enter addictions. So I went from bad to worse. In the end, I dreamed of death, taking my own life. When I was completely trapped, like David, I turned to God, not knowing if He really existed or cared. Well, He did, and He does. 😉 He stepped in for me, freed me from depression, and showed me a different life—a life with Him. Everything changed. Together with the Holy Spirit, I took on all my addictions, and within a year or so, I was completely clean and free from all that stuff. BUT, this is the takeaway: the Holy Spirit taught me that if I let go of His hand, I would be back where I once was in no time. I was not bulletproof. So, how does this translate to everyday life? Well, pretty much how David ends this Psalm: give your burdens to the Lord, and He will take care of you. Your fears and burdens are not yours to keep. Each day, you give them to Jesus anew. You get enough grace for one day. You want to know why? So you'll start every day with God anew.

Do you know why there are so many "fear nots," "don't be afraids," and "don't worrys" in the Bible? It's because God knows we're a forgetful bunch. We need to be reminded of these things every single day. David, Moses, Joshua, Peter, Paul—the list goes on. They all needed the reminder to not be afraid. And Jesus added, "I'm with you, always." But since we're a forgetful bunch and often set in our ways, God, in His kindness, thought of something else. He arranged for nature to mimic all God's reminders (especially useful for people who don't like to read and therefore miss all these much-needed Biblical encouragements.😉) We just have to take our daily shot of nature to be reminded that we don't have to be afraid, we don't have to worry, that God "carries us as a Father carries His child" (Deut 1:31). He even made sure you don't have to take a plane to see it. Live in Australia? He made kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, and wombats just to remind you: He carries you as a Father (or Mother, for that matter). Live in Africa or the Amazon? You've got your gorillas, lions, and tigers to remind you. More of an (under)water person? God's got you covered: seahorse fathers carry eggs in a pouch until they hatch. Swan mothers tuck their babies under their wings. You say you're allergic to cats or don't fancy a trip to the zoo? No worries; Jesus thought of you when He said, "Look at the birds." Look out your window. I mean really LOOK. I guarantee you can't stay anxious or stressed out when you're intently looking at birds. Butterflies will do the job as well. Or if you, like me, love chickens, look at the chickens. Ever watched chickens take a sand bath? Or drink water? Or preen themselves? Man, if that doesn't calm you down, then you better take a chill pill. ;) All this to say that God thought of you when He made all this because He knows that sometimes it's hard to have a relationship with an invisible God. That's why He made Himself visible in nature. So He could remind you when you feel stressed out or anxious: don't be afraid; I'm with you, always. ❤️

Suppose you're on death row, awaiting your execution. You get to pick your last meal. Would you look forward to it? I can tell you that I would probably feel sick to my stomach just thinking about it, let alone eating it and enjoying it. Not Jesus. Luke 22:15 tells us that He looked forward to His last meal (the Last Supper) with intense desire. Other translations say He was eager; He longed for it. When I read that, I felt so much love for this Man. I mean, He knew what a terrible, excruciating horror show was awaiting Him. Not only physically, but He would become the curse; all the sins of the world would land on Him. Forsaken by the Father, people laughing, mocking Him, and spitting on Him. He was going to be the loneliest Man in the universe. Literally. And make no mistake, Jesus knew in detail all that was going to happen. Could you eat? Jesus looked forward to it! All I can think is how, Jesus, just... how? You know why He was looking forward to it? After all, Jesus had already celebrated Passover meals with His disciples before. So what made this one different? Well, this time He would no longer be a mere participant in the ritual. He would be the actual sacrifice, the Passover Lamb. They would be breaking His body, drinking His blood, transforming this annual ritual into the New Covenant. And let me tell you, this New Covenant is not a patched-up version of the Old Covenant. It's not Old Covenant 2.0. No! It's brand new, replacing the old Mosaic law system. It's like 2 Corinthians 5:17: The old has gone; the new is here! (NIV). Death didn't just pass over; death has been destroyed! Yes, death died! Jesus conquered death by His own death and resurrection. He restored the relationship between the Father and us humans. Through Him, we have direct access to God; we can now call Him Papa, Daddy; we're family! Are you feeling this?! All our sins forgiven. Our hearts transformed by the Holy Spirit. And that is why Jesus looked forward to it. It's not just a ritual anymore. It's Communion. This time it's personal and relational. "Do this in remembrance of Me." The Bible says God is love. He truly is. Love has a name; it's Jesus. ❤️

What is faith? This is what Hebrews 11:1 says: "Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see." Ok, let that sink in for a bit; I realize it can hurt your brain a bit... 😉 So, how can we have evidence of invisible things? Try to catch my train of thought.. What if we replace "faith" with "trust"? "Trust (in God) is the evidence of things we can't see." Makes sense, right? Your trust in God (faith) will produce evidence that proves the existence of "things we can't see" (God). Meaning that because of your belief and trust in God, your way of thinking should change (renewed mind), as well as your actions, your speech, etc. The Bible calls that "fruit". Look at Jesus, for example. Because of His faith, He could heal the sick and raise the dead. Evidence of "things not seen!" That's why James 2:17 says that faith without works (actions/fruit) is dead. I love how the Message translation renders this verse: "Isn’t it obvious that God-talk without God-acts is outrageous nonsense?" And it's true. The church in the world has gotten a bad reputation because so many believers talk a good game, but their actions speak to the contrary. Anything we truly believe causes action. We can't see the signals and frequencies that make our phone work, but we expect the thing to work nevertheless. Same goes for Wi-Fi, electricity, the wind, etc. By faith... WE walk by faith, not by sight. But that's not how the world works. God knows that, so He thought of something cool. Because WE walk by faith, this faith becomes visible in our lives—by our actions. And because of our actions, we make God visible in this world. So now the people of the world get to SEE that faith (in action), enabling them to believe. Pretty cool, right?! By faith, I started Project of Love. By faith, Janis joined me. Through that faith, thousands of people around the world now experience God's love, transforming their lives, which subsequently become testimonies or evidence of things unseen; in other words, God. You see how that works?! We get to model that faith. It's Jesus in you. It's THAT kind of faith that pleases God. 👌😊

Imagine you're Martha. Just a minute ago, you were doing a crossword puzzle, or whatever it is people did in those days. And now, a bunch of sweaty, dusty and hungry men come crashing into your home. And on top of it all, it's Jesus! So naturally, you want to make a lasting impression. You quickly check to see if you've got enough food in the house. Wait, He's going to want water, with all that traveling on dusty roads and teaching. Or will He expect wine this late in the day? Thousands of thoughts run through your head. Wait, where's Mary? She needs to help me; I can't do this alone. Where is that sister of mine? Whe.. are you kidding me?! She's sitting next to Jesus, doing nothing! Can't she see I'm busy?! So you walk up to Jesus (I love how she feels free to do that; it testifies to their friendship) and you say, "Lord, don't you care that my sister is just sitting around while I'm doing all the work? Tell her to help me!" (Luke 10:40). All eyes in the room are on you.. and then Jesus sides with your sister and says, "Dear Martha, you're worried and troubled about many things. But only one thing is needed. And Mary has chosen it." Ouch... But, fair is fair; she did make a lasting impression. Thousands of years later, people are still talking about her and singing songs about her. Luckily for Martha, her dear friend John vindicated her in John 11:27, where Martha gives an amazing statement of faith: "You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world." It speaks to Martha that she didn't wallow in self-pity and offense. She took this correction to heart. So, what's the takeaway here? The truth of the matter is, we are all Marthas. Jesus was not rebuking her; it's a loving correction. There's nothing wrong with serving, but there's a place and time for things. To me, this feels just like Jesus telling us to "look at the birds." Lift your eyes away from your worries and troubles, look up to the birds. Or in this case, Jesus says, "look at me." He's simply saying, spend some time with me. Take a breath. Every answer to your worries is right here. ❤️

God's word is like a seed. It's chock-full of nutrients and power. But like any seed, if you lay it by itself on a shelf, it won't grow. It's life waiting to happen. But it needs water; it needs fertile ground. And this is where the fun starts. The seed is the Word of God. The water is the Holy Spirit. Your heart, or better said, the condition of your heart, is the soil. In other words, if you have a hard, stony heart, the seed is never going to take root. If your heart is full of worries, fear, or the pleasures of life, or as Jesus calls them, "the thorns," the seed will grow for a little while, but eventually, it will get choked by the thorns and weeds. Again, not a good scenario, unless you're a fan of nettle soup. 😉 But if your heart has good ground, then we're in business! Now all the ingredients are present to grow some major fruits. But it's not going to happen overnight. Good ground doesn't just happen. It needs to be cultivated. It doesn't mean there are no thorns or weeds; it just means they get no chance to grow because you won't let them. That's why Proverbs 4 says to "guard your heart." In other words, tend your garden. Now, this is the part I love. We have seed, we have good ground, now all we need is water. Enter: the Holy Spirit! Do you know why the Bible makes such a big deal about breath? Psalm 150 says, "Let all that has BREATH praise the Lord!" God adds His breath, His Holy Spirit, when Abram becomes Abraham. Did you know you can't even introduce yourself without naming God first? I Am Xander. It's God's breath before your name. Now, every breath contains roughly 22 mg of water. That's, on average, 0.4 L of water per day! That's why, for example, AI worship music is never going to work. It won't bring fruit. I don't care what anybody says. You know why? It has no breath. No water. No proof of life. We need the breath of the Holy Spirit, His water, His life, to let the Word grow. It's God partnering with you. When you sing His word or read His word aloud, your God-given breath is the drop of water that wraps around His seed. Isn't that amazing?! It's the ultimate partnership. Now, watch it grow! 🌱
