Curly hair is absolutely beautiful but it is high maintenance so here’s what you need to know!
1. Hydration!
When it come to curly hair water is not enough!
Water evaporates which is why your hair dries up fast.
You need a good leave in conditioner and an oil based product to keep that wet look to lasting all night.
2. Conditioning
A good deep condition is a great way to keep your curly wig nice and healthy after every wash. Since you’ll be applying a lot of product throughout your install, you’ll need a clarifying shampoo to get it nice and clean but it will make your hair dry. A deep condition will pull the moisture back in.
Please guys, DO NOT use a silicon based conditioner unless your hair has become matted and tangled, it will only cause build on your wig and make it worse😅. It’s a last resort!
3. Maintenance
Believe it or not the most important part is when you are asleep…
Clury hair HATES friction😩It causes breakage and tangles and that’s something you do not want if you intend to keep your wig healthy for a few years. Instead, detangle at night, put it in two twists and sleep with a silk/satin bonnet so you hair has some room to flow.
