Earlier this year my teammate and brother @rcoughlinftw passed the torch on to myself, and now I own a Kouki S14 Silvia! It’s taken many road trips from Tokyo to Nikko, Mobara etc. and has never skipped a beat. It was also the very first RHD car I drifted back in 2017. I think it’s been sitting for about 3 years or so now, and all I did was an oil change, topped off the tank, quick test hit and drove TKL with zero issues whatsoever. @ekmotorsinc not only helped with getting the car from Tokyo to Osaka, but they installed some @heat_maker B knucks, spacers, dmax tie rod ends anddd some fresh wheel bearings up front. @s15_alpha very generously helped with getting me to TKL this past Wednesday, let me use his shop for oil change, quick alignment, gave me some tires and took us to Yaki Niku (and some clubs lol) afterwards! Such a crazy day. Thank you to @dr_boady as well for bringing the car to TKL on his very first morning back in Japan! I’m so stoked to have a car to leave here for a while, and I’m eager to learn and try new things behind the wheel. I ran out of time with prep so ignore the ride height but man did this thing drive well. Boady and I were the only two cars at TKL all afternoon, so I got plenty of laps in and was able to push my entry technique further than I have in the past. @dan_25527 and I ripped over 600km in a Toyota Roomy, did some touristy stuff in Nara and had an awesome time at Yaki Tori with @jordogogo this past week as well! So grateful for all the time I get to spend here and naturally I am plotting my next visit as soon as humanly possible 🙏🏻

Always grateful for the support @tomoya8586 and @enokin8817 are always taking care of my friends and I whenever we make it to Japan. So much happening, haven’t had time to share anything other than some stories so here’s a quick clip I found from Nikko this past Monday in “私のくるま” 😆🫂 this car is so exciting, challenging and rewarding. Always feel nervous hopping in but I eventually get comfy. Quick clip passing @palmer_sndrsn cooling down on the straight (glad I didn’t biff it tryna be a cool guy lol) not really a great line through the rest of the course but I enjoyed my flick into T1. S14 shakedown at Gunsai this weekend wish me luck 😅

Self employment in 2026 was not exactly on my bingo card for this year. It’s something I knew I wanted in my life, but never knew how to achieve it for myself. I have so much to learn and figure out, but man this year has been so good to me. Tennessee, Mexico, West Virginia and Houston back to back weekends with friends and family. Been painting a bunch, building one of my S13’s to sell to a local homie. Next week I go to Japan for 24 days. Life has been really good, and this year it’s been surrounded by truly supportive people that I’m tremendously grateful for. It’s funny how much your life can change when you really start putting yourself first, and how some people will always expect old versions of you when you’ve spent so much time working on yourself. It’s not my place to know what people think of me, and I’m at peace with that more than I ever have in my life. Life just mirrors whatever energy you feed it. Slowly working towards ramping up @podium.finish trying to document as much of my year as possible while I have the time. Idk how long this will last, but imma ride it out till the wheels fall off 🙂‍↕️ here’s some film I shot this year, mostly on my #35Ti but there’s a few from my #rz67 I need to get fixed. A few weeks ago @frontstreet_josh invited me to be his passenger princess at @driftappalachia big shout out to him and the drift app dudes for showing me what the American Touge has to offer! It’s been on my bucket list to attend one of these events, and someday I will absolutely be driving this road. Will have a full video to share at a later date 🙂‍↕️

Slowly trying to get my brain back into photography has been a nice outlet for me this year, and a great way of capturing moments that mean more to me than just a quick cell phone pic. My 35Ti has proven itself to be such a versatile point and shoot camera for traveling. I can take quick snap shots or I can try to really pause for a moment and capture what I think might be an interesting image. I shot 5 rolls of film on my recent trip; here’s a mix of a few from Ireland and the Netherlands I haven’t posted yet. After like 17-18 rolls of film through this camera, my battery started dying as I was rewinding my last roll of film in Dublin.
