“OVOLO” - Inspired by egg chair
This piece was inspired by the iconic Egg Chair designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958. With its warm, organic curves and the sense of comfort and enclosure it provides, I reinterpreted these qualities into a bag and footwear. The core concept is "wearable furniture,” a product that serves as a furniture piece when not in use, and transforms into a functional bag or pair of shoes when worn or carried.
What makes OVOLO special is its commitment to quality over quantity. Each piece is crafted from carefully selected materials, including genuine cowhide leather and Venetian thread, with meticulous attention to pattern cutting and craftsmanship. Embossed with the project name and production date, '28 March 2025,' capturing a moment in time. As the piece ages, it gains character, telling its own story through years of use.
