Show number 1 done and dusted - 🥈❤️
Little wrap up before the stage photos come back, with my favourite people and the first time my family has seen me compete 🥹 Thank you all for being there and making it special. And Meg - as always, your support is unmatched and I'm lucky to have you in my corner.
A quiet show, and it was very quickly over. My nerves overtook and it was over in a flash, this was always going to be the show to brush of my cobwebs, 4 years is a long time away from stage. I now can enjoy the rest of my season, I know what I want to change about my physique and my overall look and I can't wait to get back to it to implement those changes.
Motivation is high - I have already beaten my previous stage look (swipe to the end) heavier, leaner, better overall look. It'll only get better from here 🚀
I even managed to get some amazing feedback from the judges, perfect structure, perfect presentation - I need to be a little tighter in the legs which I knew and bigger through the legs which we also knew and finally, I need to smile more 🤣 God damn nerves.

Proud 🥹
Being proud is a strange concept for me, there have been a huge amount of battles to fight to be where I am today and I very easily forget to be proud of myself and my journey, I think we can all relate to that.
Maybe I'll go into those battles one day
I did this photoshoot to document my journey back to stage, to look back at photos and feel a sense of achievement and pride in how I looked, how I feel in my body and what I have overcome to be in the position I'm in. As a human we can easily get wrapped up in wanting more, being more, never stopping to just be, be happy, be content, be in the moment.
This photo represents that present moment, the calm, the sense of achievement that we chase and the self belief that I can do this. I know that sounds cheesy but I'm taking this week, in the hard days as I approach my final show, to appreciate where I've come from and what I am right now because where I am right now is enough.

✨ Saxon Classic - Individual Routine ✨
My first ever routine and wow what an experience, I created this routine a few weeks before the show but had the song chosen for quite some time.
Routines are the perfect opportunity to show your personality and style on stage aside from the mandatory poses we must complete. The song should mean something to you as an athlete and your poses should reflect your strongest poses.
I felt completely at home on stage performing this - this wasn't just movement, it was my story and I loved every second.

Thoracic rotation 💫
In every pose with every category there is an element of thoracic rotation involved - what does that even mean?... I like to think of it as splitting your body in two sections. From just below the ribcage think upper body and lower body and creating an internal corkscrew motion.
When we start to learn what this rotation feels like a perfect que is hands on your head - elbows in the peripheral of your vision and by gluing your hips to the side, slowly, rotate your upper body to the front of the room - the second you loose your elbows your rotating with your arms.
Helpful tips
💫 Grind the weight through the ground to create a stable base
💫Activate the front glute to keep the hips glued to the side
💫Activate the lats and create tension through your arms to keep your upper body fixed
💫Don't rush it - if you start twisting with your arms, stop, reset and go again 🚀
💫If you only get 30% round to start, that's progress
⭐Try this also with your bum against the wall to glue your hips if your struggling
The feeling should feel hard - hard to talk through, hard to breathe through... It does get easier and more manageable but to start with it's a difficult sensation to get used to.
Using that internal corkscrew feeling, rotate on your own axis rather than tilting round to the front.

The power of food and posing 😋
Left - 1 day before my first show.
Right - yesterday 6 weeks later.
Approx 800 more calories, majority carbs and better posing.
Almost night and day and makes me excited for this growth phase.
Learned to listen to my intuition and my body through this process - I know it well.
Documenting because I want to be accountable for improving this.
Remember how far you've come ⭐
Easier said than done in my opinion, our wonderful game of bodybuilding is very much focussed on progression in every element. Progressive overload in the gym, progression through your physique, your presentation and posing, increasing food, building strength, your placings... The list is endless.
What we are really good at not doing is comparing ourselves to other people and not remembering the truth - we do this for ourselves, no one else. Comparison to anything other than ourselves is a one way ticket to hating the process. Some truth from me, this season I lost my head a few times - I started to compare myself to other athletes, people I stood on stage with, the fact I wasn't as massive as them and as shredded as them. Logically looking at this now, I was exactly where I needed to be.
I hadn't stepped on stage for 4 years and in those 4 years life has lifed... So much happened and I wasn't the most consistent I could have been however, looking at these videos previous photos I 100% grew in every element, muscle/mind/presentation and I can look at 2026 with just pure pride of what was achieved.
Now I have a little more food in me I can focus on growing, being consistent and showing up for myself and equally for the girl who will next stand on stage and use these 'now' photos as her before.
New goals now but also remembering I'm exactly where I need to be.
2022-2026 ✨
Living in the moment and taking each day as an opportunity but building those days to work towards to larger goals I want to achieve.

Stop the difference 👀
When turning the face the rear of the stage it is SUPER important to keep your hamstrings lengthened and glutes lifted.
With these side by side if you drop your glutes they look soft and you loose density through your glutes - unless you have glutes sent from the glute gods themselves IFBB pro wellness vibes - we all have loose skin deep into a prep and equally if not posed, we have soft glutes - we just to learn to out pose it, the judges don't want to see it 💥
- All the beautiful tension we have running down our legs from the glute pop, keep it as you actively step to the back of the room
- Make the step to the back enough to allow you to stretch instantly through your right leg (if you step in line with where your feet are you'll always showcase the creases)
- In all largely all poses we should be arching through the lower back - keep that arch in as you turn, do NOT stand up straight and then arch back into position.
- Imagine you have a cup of tea on your glutes - don't spill it as you step to the back
- Once your feet are set, externally rotate through your knees and feel like your heels are pulling in towards each other - this will ensure hamstring engagement

😈 Lower 1 😈
This was a bloody spicy session and I am SO excited to feel 100% to run the numbers up and fully get after it. I haven't trained legs since last Sunday so 11 days, I haven't trained since last Friday (6 days) at all so, today was a wonderful day 🥹
Peak week training is shit, there I've said it, back off sets, no pushing to failure and although your eating a smidge more food, it's doesn't give you the ability to reduce wobbly legs or overall fatigue. The gym and moving really does speak to my soul, the reverse food plan is giving me life, personality and strength will return- I'll make sure of it.
Today was setting numbers, back off sets and getting a feeling for it - even that has made me very happy. I am very aware that I'm not 'fully recovered' even though mentally I feel good and ready.
Lower 1 went a little like this 👇🏻

Adductor biased leg press

My feedback this season was grow my legs, build my density and come back undeniable with the structure I already have but denser, so that is what I plan on doing. 😈

Alicante wrap up ✨
Some of the sights, the foods and the best people in the world there to support me.
The past few days have been the dream and I'm very grateful to have this little life. I was able to give back to those who've supported me and have some down time which was much needed. Most of the food I shared or halved to not go crazy but it was lovely to try some new things and have some 'flexibilty'
Alicante on Monday was stunning, we mooched around, explored the old town, ate some beautiful food and drank wine 🤌🏻
Drove to Valencia on Tuesday, it was stunning, found some beautiful gluten free bakeries, saw the sights and thoroughly enjoyed every second. Definitely a place I would love to go back to once I have a little more energy! ❤️
Now back to normality, routine and work - posing content will now resume and of course documenting the reverse into offseason 😈 Now it's time to be a savage 🚀
