The US-Israel's war on Iran has affected countries such as the Philippines in regards to the rising oil prices. Iran holds the third largest oil reserves in the world and with the bombings on oil infrastructures and distruptions and threats on shipping routes such as the strait of Hormuz, the supply of oil is distrupted causing shortages and the rise of oil prices and related oil products such as petroleum.
In the Philippines, the oil buffer (reserved stocks of oil) can only last us a week or two at best and current policies such as the oil deregulation law (R.A 8479) allows companies that sell oil and petroleum to dictate their price without government control.
The Php 5000 cash assistance led by PBBM is also not enough to support the livelihood of our public transportation drivers where a full tank of gas already costs between PhP2,500 to Php3,500 and still needing to put food on the table as well as rent for the public transport vehicle itself.
Such policies on an industry where millions of Filipinos rely on does not service the people. The rising prices of fuel due to the ongoing war and the combination of our governments lack of action towards making necessary decisions and changes towards our public transport system is making it extremely difficult for jeepney, taxi, bus, etc. drivers to make a living and support their families.
With this, let us demand our government to remove VAT and excise tax on petroleum products especially in this time of crisis, trash policies that do not serve the people and make an effort to boost our country's oil buffers for such emergencies and demand an end to the US-Israel war on Iran.

I mistakenly opened the back of my camera while the film was still loaded so the light leaked,,, idek if you would call it a leak cause this is an entire flood!
Anw, I really like these pictures and I got them a month ago if I remember correctly, but I forgot about them because the light leaks were too much but Ive since moved on, and I can appreciate these now, esp the last one which I scanned myself. (It was a first time experience, forgive me lol) Live and learn hehe
