Ce weekend on a fait une résidence pour ajouter des nouveaux morceaux au set et accueillir @2wan_2plaizir dans le groupe ! Le chef Lucien nous quitte afin de se consacrer au jazz et d'autres projets trop chouettes 🤍🤍🤍 donc petit photodump pour partager tout ça !

SIMONE D’OPALE //
Simone d’Opale convoque dans sa musique toute notre humanité, née de l’alchimie entre abîmes intimes et rêveries vaporeuses. Un équilibre subtil émerge de ces antagonismes — fruit apaisé de nos contradictions.
Né à Nantes de la rencontre entre Manon Claude, chanteuse multi-récompensée (Prix Ampli Ouest France et Festival Jacques Brel 2017, demi-finaliste du Prix Georges Moustaki 2016), forte de plus de 250 concerts en Europe, et Paul Dechaume, multi-instrumentiste et compositeur (Marquis de Sade, Da Silva…), le groupe prend racine dans des maquettes longtemps enfouies, que Paul réarrange et transforme.
Leurs univers fusionnent harmonieusement : des textes inspirés d’Alain Bashung et de Klô Pelgag, portés par des sonorités anglo-saxonnes évoquant Grizzly Bear, Beach House et Radiohead — une indie pop tour à tour lumineuse et mélancolique.
Sur scène, le duo s’entoure de musiciens, aujourd’hui en trio avec Federico Climovich à la batterie (Bumpkin Island).

On est parti en Bretagne cette semaine avec @chahualaprod et on a enregistré ça. Il est fort le jeune, il a fait la prod/arrangemments/mix ⚔️
Je voulais attendre mon anniv dans deux jours pour sortir la vidéo, mais j’étais trop impatient
C’est un peu Rap NRV, comme à l’époque de @_rezinsky_ ❤️

I think this one is my fave so far, it's a bit theatre kid vibe lol

Day 4/7 !!! This was fun + frustrating ! Deffo not perfect lol
It can be super hard to not feel like a burden both in platonic + romantic relationships !!
In Rennes we have workshops that are organised by the hospital MS department, one of them is about romantic relationships because it can be really daunting.
When do you tell the person you're dating about your chronic illness ? How ? What happens if they take it badly ? How to get them to understand what you're living with ?
They're signing up for something that really impacts our lives, so it can be super scary ! Luckily there are some super incredible wonderful people out there who don't treat or see us as burdens, who help us as though it were as easy as breathing. It's easy to feel guilty when asking for or receiving help, but when people really care, they try to understand and do what they can.
My very wonderful girlfriend really proved that to me. She asked me lots of questions about MS, and was super curious and eager to help. She even changed some of her habits - she doesn't do the french cheek kiss anymore so as to help protect my iffy immune system (impacted by my MS meds) ! And she did it without me asking ! Like 😭🥰 yeah feeling v lucky
Thank you again to @olivia_rafferty for your wonderful 7 tiny projects workshop !!! I would never have written this song and tried this "instrument" if not for it !!
