Book design of “Robotic Landscapes—Designing the Unfinished”. (Part III/III)
208 pages, 22 color and 187 b/w illustrations
17 × 24 cm, paperback
ISBN 978-3-03860-254-5b
“Robotic Landscapes” is an experimental publication project that provides insight into the interdisciplinary research of landscape architecture, environmental engineering and robotics at ETH.
Due to changing environmental conditions, landscapes are subject to constant change. The book reflects on how autonomously working robots can dynamically respond to these unpredictabilities. A selection of three-phase design experiments is used to demonstrate the importance of sequential design iterations.
