The grieving never ends...
Yesterday he was missing, today he's no longer with us, a few months ago he was biking with Isaiah and the crew. Having a sense of community means caring for each other at ALL times. After getting to know Kailon and getting him to open up around me, I felt like it was my responsibility, as a community member, to help keep that kid, and his brother, safe.
The pair were hilarious around each other. Always arguing and fighting over nothing.They lived just a few blocks from the gym and stayed asking for rides, would purposely hang around late just to say its too dark to walk 😑.
Kailon was a natural athlete too, good climber to not have much care for the sport overall.
Its so easy to let a statistic be just that, a statistic, just a number to added to the ticker. This one wasn't. This one hit deep

First MLK Day out of the South, as well as an ex-federal holiday. It was dope seeing events being held with honor and joy despite the White House constantly chipping away at Black American history and culture. Big shout out to @bostonyouthsymphonyorchestras for putting on such a moving show to start the day off. Nothing is more touching than feeling some good vibrations being strung live. My next stop was @icaboston where I was able to see beautiful indigenous art work as they recognized MLK Day with free admission.

Sometimes I wonder who tf I am...
We've all asked the questions and for centuries not even the greatest geniuses to live couldnt give you an answer. Whats the point of all this? Iono, I just know that each and everyday I want to do it my way. Trying to bring bach meaniful social media, I will use this as a way to journal life experiences, the good, the bad, the paradise, and the hell. I pride myself on being me all the time, so imma be me on here for now on. Not giving af about the norm is what I'm best at💁🏾.

I struggle with self-confidence big time. Always being called skinny growing up never thought I would see myself as anything other than that. I had this wonderful time visiting this beautiful temple and the atmosphere was very humbling. After insisting to take pics with me in the background, I finally gave in.
YALL, I could not believe how fit I looked here. Like damn I walk around looking like that all the time?!? Self confidence boost 4da win. 🤗
