The Finger Lakes are home to some of New York’s most exciting wines, and no two lakes are alike. On Friday, June 5, join beverage educators Thera Clark and Anthony Velasquez as they take you on an in-depth exploration of two of the region’s most beloved lakes: the steep shores of Keuka and the sweeping beauty of Cayuga.
Side by side, you’ll taste through wines that reflect the unique terroir, microclimates, and winemaking traditions each lake offers. Every glass tells a story shaped not only by the land and the surrounding water, but also by the people who steward it forward.
Thera and Anthony will guide you through each pour (alongside a nosh plate by NYK Resident Chef Pamela Cecere), unpacking what makes these two lakes so distinct and so special. Whether you’re new to Finger Lakes wine or a longtime fan looking to deepen your appreciation, this class is your chance to truly get to know the lakes one sip at a time.
