Monochromatic Serenity: A 12,000 Sq Ft Mediterranean Sanctuary in Indore, India. Introducing the AD House: a 12,000 sq ft personal retreat for a young entrepreneur couple that completely redefines luxury architecture in India. We challenged the concept of grandeur by embracing serenity and solitude. The result is a rare architectural narrative: an Inside-Out Mediterranean structure, defined by a disciplined, monochromatic palette of white, ivory, and black. Every room is a sanctuary, connected to the exterior landscape via large French vents and private patios. The showstopper? A 540 sq ft curvilinear pool that flows seamlessly alongside the drawing room, acting as a constant, calming visual centerpiece from nearly every corner. Step inside this timeless world where sophisticated layering of texture meets a quiet, balanced dialogue of arches, curves, and straight lines. Tranquil Villa: Where the Sky Meets the Living Room A home designed as a legacy for a Punjabi family, Tranquil Villa (7,500 sq. ft. built-up on a 3,300 sq. ft. plot) redefines scale, light, and modern Indian luxury. I. 26 Feet of Vertical Freedom The central foyer–living–drawing zone rises as a single 26-foot, pillarless volume engineered through Post-Tensioning (PT) technology. Colossal 25-foot openings bring in uninterrupted natural light, turning the sky into a continuous backdrop for everyday living. II. Neo-Classical Structure, Modern Identity A Neo-Classical facade with detailed mouldings anchors the home in tradition, while the interiors introduce bold modern elements—curved orange velvet seating, black-and-white flooring, and a sculptural fabricated spiral staircase that adds dramatic movement to the space. III. Personal Sanctuaries Custom-built spaces like the Home Temple and a Wellness Oasis on the upper level reflect the family’s lifestyle. The jacuzzi beneath a large glass skylight offers a rare experience—bathing directly under the open sky within a controlled, private environment. The architecture of silence. 🏛️ We often mistake luxury for just marble and millwork. But in a residence of this scale, the real luxury isn’t what you see—it’s the engineering of what you feel. At AD Manor, we didn’t just decorate a hall, we choreographed an ecosystem. Here is the Invisible Logic behind the grandeur: 01. The Stack Effect (Thermal Siphoning) 🌬️ Notice the vertical volume. We didn’t build this high just for drama. The height acts as a thermal chimney, pulling warm air up and out through the upper architectural vents, keeping the ground level naturally cool. 02. Acoustic Softening High volume usually means high echo. To counter this, we used ‘Tactile Anchors’ — the heavy boucle sofa and floor-to-ceiling drapery act as sound sponges, turning a cavernous hall into an intimate conversation pit. 03. The Visual Anchor In a white-on-white palette, the eye needs a place to rest. The black marble staircase isn’t just circulation, it’s the monolithic spine that grounds the entire visual weight of the home.
